In my studies I have realized that taking teachings out of their cultural context can subdue a practice, ceremony or ritual and even make it harmful. Our blended and in ways broken culture cannot always protect the tender nature of our processes and healing. All of this makes it more important than ever to choose our practitioners, teachers and communities wisely. We each deserve a container in which our wholeness can be reflected and protected.

I am so grateful for all that I have learned thus far and yet my trust in a person’s capacity to reorganize in the right environment (practitioner, family/community presence, physical health, environmental safety and wellness) is beyond what any certification, tool or practice can do alone. Much of what I have learned and now share is applied by creating a space where a natural process can unfold, and then resolve so that the individual returns to life more “organized” with truth.
